CRANDALL, Judge.

Defendant, Sears, Roebuck and Company, appeals from the judgment of the trial court, entered pursuant to a jury verdict, in favor of plaintiff, Leonard Missionary Baptist Church, in a strict liability action for damages sustained in a fire caused by a *835space heater. Plaintiff cross-appeals from the trial court’s reduction of the award by the amount of a prior settlement with another defendant. We affirm.
