After a lengthy trial held before this court, we awarded claimants $1,380,000 for damages resulting from the appropriation by the State of claimants’ property (Schwartz v State of New York, 95 Misc 2d 525). Pursuant to subdivision 1 of section 19 of the Court of Claims Act and the Appendix to the Rules of the Court of Claims, we also provided for interest to be paid from the date of vesting until entry of judgment.
