[1] The plaintiff is the widow of Charles Dorrance, Jr., son of Charles Dorrance, Sr., deceased. The senior Dorrance died on the 18th day of January, 1892, first having made his last-will and testament, dated October 14, 1891, duly probated and remaining of record in the office of the register of wills for Luzerne county, this state, wherein and whereby the testator has devised and bequeathed the residue of his 'valuable real and personal property, after the bequest of certain specific legacies, unto the Pennsylvania Company for Insurance on Lives and Granting…
