FULTON, Senior Judge:

Although pleading not guilty, the appellant has been convicted of wrongfully possessing an unspecified quantity of “a habit forming narcotic drug, to wit: Cocaine,” in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934 (1976), and an additional charge of attempting (at the same time and place) to sell the drug in violation of Article 80, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. *634§ 880 (1976).1 His approved sentence includes a bad-conduct discharge and confinement at hard labor for two years, thereby requiring our review pursuant to Article 66 of the…
