Plaintiff brings this proposed class action on behalf of himself and other purchasers of First Pennsylvania Corporation (“First Penn”) securities alleging violation of federal and state securities laws. Defendants named in the complaint are: First Penn, a large registered Pennsylvania bank holding company; Gerard V. Carey, John A. Bunting and James F. Bodine, officers and directors of First Penn; and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (“PMM”), a public accounting firm.
