Plaintiff in error here, and plaintiff in the court below, Elizabeth M. Pippin, brought an action against the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, as beneficiary named in the life insurance policy issued on the life of plaintiff’s mother, Mary Morrison, seeking to recover double indemnity for accidental death.
