MURRAY, Chief Justice.
This is a rear-end automobile collision case. On or about June 11, 1960, at approx imately 8:25 A.M., Cecil Jones was driving south on Acme Road in Bexar County, Texas, and when he arrived at the intersection of Acme Road and Ardmore Street he intended to make a left turn to the east on Ardmore Street, but because there was traffic going north on Acme Road, which prevented him from turning into Ardmore Street, he stopped and immediately his automobile was struck from the rear by an automobile driven by Robert J. Downey, traveling south on Acme Road.
