Appellant, McCane Sondock Detective Agency, was sued for negligently failing to fulfill its obligations under a contract with the appellee, Penland Distributors, Inc.
Appellant is in the business of providing theft protection through electronic burglar alarm systems. The contract between the parties in this case was entered into on November 19, 1962.
