Dent, President:

In June, 1890, Johnson N. Camden filed a bill in chancery in the circuit court of Greenbrier County against William S. Dewing, James H. Dewing, and Charles A. Dewing, partners doing business in the firm name of Dewing & Sons, for the purpose of compelling them to execute to him a deed for about fifteen thousand acres of land situated in Greenbrier, Nicholas, and Webster counties. The case is as follows, to wit: In the year 1885 A. H. Winchester was acting as agent of Dewing & Sons in purchasing wild lands in this State. While so engaged he formed a partnership with Elihu…
