Appellee, Dr. J. J. Addison, filed suit against appellant, Bankers Protective Life Insurance Company, a corporation and a mutual company, for the sum of $500 as a reasonable claim for medical services rendered by appellee in treating one Michael J. Borenis, who had a compound fracture of the jaw and was a policy holder’of appellant and who will hereafter be referred to as the injured. Appellee alleged that appellant’s agent, Carl A.
