In January, 1902, the plaintiff, Emma Dill, commenced an action in the district court for Custer county against the defendant, Walter A. George. After issue joined, the parties stipulated that the case should be tried before Judge Grimes, judge of the Thirteenth judicial district, at Grand Island. Custer county is in the Twelfth judicial district, and Grand Island is in the Eleventh judicial district.
