MEMORANDUM OPINION

H. FRANKLIN WATERS, Chief Judge.

INTRODUCTION

This is an action brought by plaintiffs, Ben Core 1 and Polly Anna Core, against the defendant, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, to redress an alleged trespass on land owned by the Cores. Plaintiffs are citizens and residents of the State of Arkansas. The defendant is a corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Missouri with its principal place of business also in the State of Missouri. At the time this action was removed to federal court, the amount in controversy exceeded the sum of $10,000 exclusive of interest…
