—In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for trespass in which the defendants asserted a counterclaim for a declaration that they had a prescriptive easement over a stated portion of *435the plaintiffs’ property which adjoins a right of way, the plaintiffs appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Westchester County (Nastasi, J.), entered January 16, 2001, as, after a nonjury trial, is in favor of the defendants and against them on the counterclaim.
Ordered that the judgment is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law and the facts, with costs,…
