Washington school township of Daviess County desired to contract for the transportation of school children. They proceeded under Chap. 59 of the Acts of 1931, p. 144 and advertised for bids for the school years 1931-32, 1932-33, 1933-34, 1934-35. Bids were submitted for some twenty routes. At eight o’clock P. M. on the third Tuesday of July, 1931, the advisory board of the township met with the trustees and opened the bids submitted and awarded the contracts.
