Plaintiff Washington Group International, Inc. filed suit against defendants Mason Manufacturing, Inc. (Mason) and the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. (Hartford) for breach of contract, breach of express warranty, breach of the implied warranty of merchantability, breach of the implied warranty of fitness for a particular use and negligent misrepresentation arising from the construction and inspection of five hot oil service pressure vessels.
