HOLLAND, Justice:
This is an appeal from a final judgment entered by the Superior Court. The employer-appellant, the State of Delaware (“State”), appealed a decision of the Industrial Accident Board’s (“IAB”) finding that the employee-appellee, Charles J. Dalton, Jr., of the Delaware State Police, was injured during the course and scope of his employment and that the injury was, therefore, compensable under the Workers’ Compensation Statute.
