Rossi died, intestate, December 6, 1925, and was survived by his wife, ten children, and a grandson, the only child of a deceased daughter. This controversy originated in the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis as a proceeding to discover assets of his estate, wherein one of his children, Theresa R.
