This is an action to recover damages in the sum of $10,000 for personal injuries caused by the alleged negligence of defendant in running a street car, on. which plaintiff was a passenger, rapidly around a curve at Sixteenth and M streets in the city of Lincoln, and in throwing him *650violently to the pavement. The answer was a general denial and a plea of negligence on the part of plaintiff. From a judgment on a verdict in favor of plaintiff for one dollar, he has appealed.
