This is a products liability action arising from the death of Victor A. Shinkle in a *633collision on April 4, 1979, in Miami County, Kansas, between a delivery van, driven by the decedent, and a 1972 Chevrolet, driven by Thomas A. Greving. A separate action commenced by plaintiffs against Greving in the District Court of Miami County, Kansas, was settled following a hearing before that court.
