Minor-appellant John Doe (Minor) appeals from a family court order entered after he was orally adjudicated as a law violator. Ap-pellee State of Hawai'i (the prosecution) contends that Minor’s appeal contains jurisdictional defects that mandate dismissal. For the reasons discussed herein, we agree and, therefore, dismiss this appeal.
