The respondent was indicted .and convicted for receiving stolen property. The following is the indictment:
“ The grand jurors of the State of Missouri, within and for the body of the city of St. Louis, now here in court, duly empanelled, sworn and charged, upon their oath present, that Daniel A. Honig, late of the city of St. Louis, on the 20th day of October, in the year of our Lord 1877, at the city of St. Louis aforesaid, with force and arms, $100 in good and lawful money of the United States of America, of the value of $100, of the goods, property and chattels of Thomas B.
