We granted certiorari to review the court of appeals’ decision in Kulik, et al. v. Public Service Company of Colorado, et al., Colo.App., 605 P.2d 475 (1979), which reversed the trial court’s direction of a verdict in favor of a heating contractor-defendant in a negligence action by plaintiffs for property damages resulting from an explosion in their home due to a defective heating system.
