At the conclusion of the evidence produced by the plaintiff, in the trial of this suit for injuries which he sustained when his automobile was struck by a locomotive of the defendant at a street crossing, a verdict was directed for the defendant on the theory that the plaintiff had been guilty of negligence contributing to the accident.
