In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for legal malpractice, the defendant David Jeffrey Gold appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Loughlin, J.), dated September 28, 2004, as granted that branch of the plaintiffs motion which was for summary judgment against him on the issue of liability, and the defendant Vengroff Williams & Associates, Inc., appeals from so much of the same order as granted that branch of the plaintiffs motion which was for summary judgment against it on the issue of liability.
