These three actions were begun separately in the same court, the object of each of which was to recover damages alleged to have been sustained by fire originating on account of the negligence of the defendant, a corporation. The cause wherein Theodore Davenport and Home Insurance Company were plaintiffs was tried in June, 1920, and for convenience is hereinafter referred to as the Davenport case, and the other two causes, in one of which David Y.
