Following a jury trial, Gangapersad Ramroop (“Ramroop”) was convicted of first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and knowingly discharging a firearm from a vehicle within 1000 feet of a person. On appeal, he argues that the State’s closing argument was improper and constituted fundamental error and that the trial court erred by admitting an inflammatory photograph into evidence.
