for the Court.

¶ 1. On July 19, 2006, the Board of May- or and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg (Board) terminated Anthony Lane from the Vicksburg Police Department (VPD). Lane appealed the Board’s decision to the Vicksburg Civil Service Commission (Commission), and the Commission upheld the termination. Lane then appealed the Commission’s decision to the Warren County Circuit Court, which also upheld the termination.
