1. The status of the ward in the present instance, an adult war veteran, is somewhat novel. Though the record does not disclose that he is non compos mentis, his property, to the extent of certain compensation or benefits received from the Federal Government, is controlled by a guardian. That appointment was made in pursuance of the act of 1925 (Ga. L. 1925, p. 270), as amended by the act of 1929 (Ga.
