Alesia Warrior (Warrior) was convicted by a jury of the premeditated first-degree murder of her husband, in violation of K.S.A. 21-3401(a), and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, in violation of K.S.A. 21-3302 and K.S.A. 21-3401. Warrior received a controlling hard 50 life sentence.
