OPINION

KENNEDY, Judge.

{1} The district court, upon the Children, Youth, and Families Department’s (CYFD) motion, terminated Father’s parental rights with regard to Child. Father was incarcerated for the majority of time between February 2013, when CYFD took custody of Child, and February 2015, when Father’s parental rights were terminated. Father appeals the termination of his parental rights, asserting that neither CYFD nor the district court followed the procedures required for termination of parental rights under the Abuse and Neglect Act, NMSA 1978, §§ 32A-4-1 to -34 (1993, as amended…
