I am of opinion that, the credit of the 1916 and 1917 overpayments was made and allowed to the 1918 deficiency under the Revenue Act of 1924 and that plaintiff is entitled to interest on the overpayments computed in accordance with the provisions of that act to the date of the additional assessment for 1918. I think, also, that the decision in this case is contrary to the opinion in Standard Oil Co. (Indiana) v. United States, 5 F. Supp. 976, 7 F. Supp. 301, 78 Ct.
