These consolidated causes consist of five bills filed in the Chancery Court of Cocke County by the Newport Cotton Mill Company against alleged subscribers to its stock for amounts alleged to be due by them on their respective stock subscriptions.

The complainant seeks to recover of C. B. Mims, $500; of J. A. Baleh, $150; of J. J. Denton, $500; of I., M. Eubank, $250; and of W. C. Anderson, $750.
