BROSKY, Judge:
This is an appeal from an Order denying appellant permission to withdraw as appellate counsel for John T. Sweeney. 1
The issue presented by appellant is whether the trial court abused its discretion in refusing appellant’s motion to withdraw as appellate counsel after he assisted Sweeney in filing a Notice of Appeal, where Sweeney only retained appellant for the pretrial and trial stages and where Sweeney was indigent and could not afford appellant to represent him on appeal.
