—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Franklin Weissberg, J.), rendered October 28, 1993, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, and sentencing him, as a second felony offender, to a term of A112 to 9 years, unanimously affirmed.

Viewing the evidence in a light most favorable to the People (People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620, 621), we find that it was legally sufficient to establish defendant’s guilt of the crime charged. Upon an independent review of the facts, we find the verdict was not against the weight of the evidence.…
