Defendant-appellant Anthony Guidiee appeals from a judgment of conviction and sentence imposed by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Denise L. Cote, Judge) pursuant to Guidice’s plea of guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit extortion. Guid-ice contends that the district court erred in denying his motion to withdraw his guilty plea after it was discovered that both his attorney and the government had underestimated Guidice’s presumptive sentencing range under the United States Sentencing Guidelines.
