The defendant, Quentin T. Ray, was convicted, after a trial to the court, of five counts of sale of narcotics by a person who is not drug-dependent in violation of General Statutes § 21a-278 (b), 1 six counts of possession of narcotics in violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (a), five counts of sale of narcotics within 1500 feet of a school or qualifying housing project in violation of General Statutes § 21a-278a (b) and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia in violation of General Statutes §§ 21a-267 and 21a-240 (20). 2 The defendant appeals 3 from his…
