Advance America, Cash Advance Centers of North Carolina, Inc. (“Advance America”) appeals from the superior court’s dismissal of its appeal from a final decision of the Banking Commission. Advance America argues that it fully complied with the statutory requirement for appeals from the Commission by submitting a notice of appeal to the Commissioner of Banks within 20 days of the order.
