A.A. Profiles, Inc. filed suit against the City of Fort Lauderdale and the members of the City Commission, individually and in their official capacity (collectively “the City”), seeking relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 1 for the taking of property without just compensation in violation of the fifth amendment and the deprivation of property without due process in violation of the fourteenth amendment.
