Defendant-Appellant State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (“State Farm”) appeals the district court’s entry of judgment and award of a statutory penalty, attorney’s fees, and interest in a dispute arising out of an automobile accident involving an uninsured motorist. After conducting a choice-of-law analysis, the district court applied the substantive law of the State of Louisiana in reaching its conclusion. See La.Rev.Stat.
