The sole question arising for decision on this record relates to the validity of the service of the summons made in this case. The facts gleaned from the record necessary to a decisipn of this question, briefly stated, are as follows: Plaintiff, a citizen of this state, doing business under the name and style of the “Iówa Bridge Company,” in the year 1906 purchased from the defendant, a lumber - corporation organized under the laws of the state of Missouri, domiciled in the city of St. Louis in that state, 58 cars of lumber.
