The defendant, Kevin Juzba, was tried by jury and convicted in Superior Court, Franklin County, under an indictment in two counts charging, respectively, rape and assault and battery. As will appear, each sentence included a probationary period. The defendant was later accused of violating probation by reason of his commission of further similar crimes.
