Josef John Casal appeals from his conviction of bank robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) and (d) (1988) and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c) (1988). He argues that the district court erred in admitting his confession, because at the time he made it he was under the influence of drugs, had not slept for five days, and was concerned about his pregnant girlfriend, who was upset and crying in the police station.
