CALABRIA, Judge.

Montrail O. Davis ("defendant") appeals from a judgment entered upon jury verdicts finding him guilty of second degree burglary, larceny pursuant to burglary, and resisting a public officer. We find no error.

I. Background

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on 14 January 2011, Officer Jason Erkes (Officer Erkes) of the Goldsboro Police Department ("GPD") responded to a call reporting the sound of breaking glass at an apartment building located at 1112 East Beech Street.
