After the trial court denied his pretrial motion to suppress, Shamar Jerrell Johnson pled no contest to possession of a controlled substance and, pursuant to a plea-bargain agreement, was placed on deferred adjudication community supervision for a period of two years and fined $1,500.00, with $500.00 of that amount being probated.
