NORGLE, District Judge.

Before the court is defendant Anthony Frank’s motion to dismiss plaintiff’s complaint pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(6). For reasons that follow, the court grants the motion.

FACTS

Plaintiff, Donald R. Barrett (“Barrett”) is a disabled veteran who suffers from a hearing impairment and receives compensation based on ten percent disablement. He applied for and was offered a position as a distribution clerk with the postal service’s Moraine Valley facility, scheduled to begin February 14, 1987.
