CROWE, District Judge.

This is an action brought on June 30, 1954, by Robert F. Boyd, a Panama Canal *51pilot, on behalf of himself and as a representative of all other Panama Canal pilots similarly situated, including 75 other Panama Canal pilots whose names are listed in the caption of the complaint, against The Panama Canal Company, a Federally chartered corporation.
