LESLIE, Chief Justice.
The Farmers & Bankers Life Insurance Company instituted this suit against the Common School District No. 22, Stephens County, Texas, to recover the interest on school building bonds theretofore issued by the district, and also to obtain a decree establishing the legality of the bonds, the validity of which had been questioned by the district. The defendant answered by general demurrer, general denial, and special pleas in bar. The trial was before the court without a jury, and resulted in a judgment in favor of the plaintiff for interest in the sum of $1,304.04, and…
