This action was commenced seeking relief from the property settlement provisions included in a decree of divorce. The Circuit Court of Peoria County denied the relief sought by petitioner and this appeal followed.

Janet L. Thompson and David J. Thompson were married on December 19,1969, at Laura, Illinois. On December 21,1976, the Putnam County court entered a decree of divorce which dissolved the Thompson marriage and made provisions as to child custody, child support, maintenance and property division.
