Appellants Daniel Scala and Alan Weitz appeal from their convictions, judgments and sentences for first-degree grand theft. The State of Florida cross-appeals the downward departure sentence imposed on Alan Weitz.

Appellants raise a number of claims in this appeal, including: errors allegedly made during jury selection, in evidentiary rulings by the trial court regarding central witness testimony and key exhibits, insufficiency of the evidence, and improper closing argument by the State.
