CLARKE, District Judge.
Appellants were convicted by a jury in the district court under 18 U.S.C. § 659 of receiving stolen property. Grossman was convicted of knowingly receiving 300 stolen Colibrí cigarette lighters shipped from Japan to Providence,.Rhode Island, by way of Charlestown, Massachusetts, aboard the M/V KISO MARU. Badolato was convicted of knowingly receiving sixty lighters from the same shipment. At trial, a Colibrí catalog was admitted into evidence to prove the retail value of the lighters.
